books, 10 to 50 cents each - "reading, how to" for teaching others to read, "the vegitarian epicure", and "curriculum guide in physical education, grades 7-9"
cassette tapes - 10 cents each, two billy idol, two billy joel, crash test dummies and huey lewis.

For Emma, one 25 cent inflatable ant or alien in bright green. It also squeaks. One Noah's Ark board book with lift up flaps, some still intact, also 25 cents. One red plastic chair, free with ant.

My mother also got me two Garfield things: a door hanger that says "welcome to the funny farm", and a statue that says "I need substitute students".

Meaghan also bought a small fish bowl and a jar of fish food. Now she's begging us to buy her a goldfish.
