You know, someone said to me last night that I don't look old enough to have a 15 year old. What does that mean anyway?
This site is putting out an anthology titled: YOU DON'T LOOK OLD ENOUGH TO BE A MOTHER: TEEN MOMS ON LOVE, LEARNING, AND SUCCESS. I think maybe I'll contribute something. :) I may not be a teen now, but I was (am?) a teen mom, and yeah stuff like this happens. That doesn't mean we should pay for it forever. I come from a long line of teen moms, and no, I won't jump for joy if one of my kids becomes one, but we can work on these things better if we understand the problems under the surface.
Teen moms need love, not shame.
